Development and build-up required logistically out of the box thinking

JBS Textile Group was previously known as JBS Underwear with the highest priority on men's underwear. Today, the business has developed considerably and now houses 16 different brands. They still produce underwear, but also a wide range of other clothing.

This transition into a multiple brands company has required significant changes in the logistic setup.

With increased efforts in the UK, JBS needed a partner who could act as a logistics warehouse as well as deliver special solutions locally in the UK market. Here LEMAN was an obvious choice.

“We faced a challenge with enormously varying needs for special solutions, where time frames were crucial. Whether it's a single pallet or 3 full trailer loads, it is important for us to be able to rely on delivery times,” explains Kim B. Kristensen from JBS.

"We have shipments to the whole of Europe, where our customers and business partners have high fixtime and time slot expectations. As soon as all relevant information has been transferred to LEMAN, we do not have to think more about the requirements for the deliveries. The freight forwarders at LEMAN regularly provide feedback and updates, so we can always act on real-time information about the shipments."

"LEMAN provides packing of our goods, shipped from their warehouse in the UK. It is hugely resource-saving for us and our customers that the packing takes place locally."

At LEMAN UK, the business has for several years been characterized by being able to handle many types of tasks and developing custom logistics solutions. Thus, LEMAN UK logistics manager James Graham was certain that LEMAN was the right fit for JBS with the right solution in the UK;

“When Kim from JBS approached, we knew very quickly that we could solve the challenges facing JBS, with their increasing turnover and focus on core services. We manage everything about warehousing, packaging, shipping, and special solutions for our customers, and JBS was no exception.
We look with great optimism to our future cooperation with such a significant customer as JBS."
