New restrictions have minimal effect on your transport flow
16. 十一月
Following the latest Danish Covid-19 restrictions, which were introduced after discovering mutated virus in Danish mink, the UK has now tightened restrictions on entry and freight transport from Denmark. Danish drivers will now be denied access to the UK, while British drivers who have stayed in Denmark will have to go through 14 days of self-isolation.
Until further notice, the restrictions apply from 7th November to 30th November 2020.

For you as a customer at LEMAN, this will only have a minimal effect. LEMAN's traffic to and from the UK is performed primarily with unaccompanied trailers, meaning the driver does not sail across the North Sea. Thereby, the traffic will remain almost unchanged. However, due to increased freight volumes on ferries and thereby expected capacity challenges, you may expect extended transit times.
If your goods are transported by a driver-accompanied car, we recommend that you book your shipments well in advance. At the same time, please be aware that extended transit time will occur, as all drivers may need to be checked at the English border.
At LEMAN, we can offer you the following solutions:
Please contact your local LEMAN specialist if you want to know more about your options or if you have questions regarding the latest restrictions.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
