As of 1 January 2021, LEMAN and Ilulissat-based Tankeeraq ApS enter a strategic partnership, which means that the parties can now offer a strong joint setup providing even better services to the mainland and most of the remote settlements. For some time, LEMAN has been looking for a new partner after opening its own office premises in Nuuk last year.

"Tankeeraq has solid experience and has run a haulage business in Greenland for quite some time, so they know what it is about, and their unique local knowledge and great know-how makes them a key player in the Greenlandic transport industry," says Kenneth Werther, Group COO Air & Sea at LEMAN and adds:

“Ilulissat is in rapid development, and especially tourism has helped to accelerate growth in the area. We are pleased to finally be able to unveil this new partnership, which means that we are now represented in both Nuuk and Ilulissat.”

Tankeeraq ApS is also pleased about the partnership and looks forward to getting a more international touch.

“We have been looking for a strong partner for a while, and I think we have found that in the form of LEMAN, which is a significant player in the global transport and logistics market. The partnership gives us some opportunities we did not have before, and I have no doubt that the collaboration will be a growth enabler for both parties,” says Tommy O. Bagger, CEO at Tankeeraq ApS.

The ambition is to give the customers a personal, professional, and solution-oriented experience by offering best-in-class service and customized high-quality products.
